Rhonda: [00:00:00] Hey guys, it’s Rhonda with Kentucky SPIN and I hope y’all are doing well. Just wanted to jump on here and give a five quick tips to building partnerships.
The first one is build a relationship with someone. Get to know one another. Not always when something’s going wrong, but you know, make sure that you know one another. Because when you build relationships, you are building lasting partnerships.
Number two is be able to say you’re sorry and when you’re wrong. This is huge and there is, all of us have those moments in our life and just be able to do that. Everyone’s going to have much more respect for one another if we do that because there are many things that I’ve done wrong, not intentionally, but being able to say that you’re sorry and know when you are wrong.
The other one is, number three [00:01:00] is you can disagree by still respecting one another, and this is huge. We’re not always gonna believe in what one another, you know, believes. But we’ve got to have a mutual respect for one another. That we can honor one another’s beliefs and when we disagree, but still be able to work together.
Number four is be yourself. You don’t have to know all the fancy terms. You don’t have to, you know, the more I think of things is the more we look at stuff as partnerships, not competitions. That’s what is going to make lasting partnerships as well. So be yourself. That is so important.
And the last but not least, and maybe the most important thing is tell them when there’s something good. Something that you [00:02:00] noticed that they’re doing good. Because I don’t know about you, but most of the time, the things I hear about and others do as well, when something is wrong, right?
When there are different concerns, so share with them. We all need to hear the good things too. You know, making sure that we take that moment because that is going to help also build the relationship.
So I hope these tips help and please share some of your tips that you’ve used that have helped you in building partnerships.
So take care and stay safe and we’ll talk to you later. Bye. Bye.
